RAFTER Plus extends the features of the RAFTER temperature display
and recording system by providing temperature alerts and remote web access to temperature information.

Temperature Alarms
Each temperature sensor can be configured individually with a low or a high temperature alarm. The temperature value
must be exceeded for a specified number of seconds before a temperature alarm is raised.
When a temperature alarm is raised the alarm details are entered into an alarm log and displayed in a real
time alarm tracking window that is automatically displayed on the screen. If the audio alarm
is enabled a siren is played through the computer's speakers for a specified amount of time
or until the temperature returns to normal or until the alarm is manually cancelled by an operator.
Alarm Notification
Whenever an alarm is raised the Rafter Plus software can be configured to issue a notification of the alarm
condition via E-mail and SMS.
Alarm Groups
A great feature of the Rafter Plus system is the use of alarm groups. An alarm group allows a
number of sensors that are located near each other to only raise one alarm. This means if you
place some sensors in a room and group them into a single group then if the room temperature exceeds
an alarm value only one alarm will be raised for whichever sensor first exceeds the alarm value.
This reduces the number of unnecessary notifications.

The notification configuration allows a roster of different people to receive temperature alerts. Each day is seperated into twelve 2 hour blocks.
SMS Notification
SMS notification is performed by subscribing to a third party SMS service which will accept an E-mail containing the SMS message to be sent.
Internet Browser Access
When the web server feature of RAFTER PLUS is enabled any computer with a Internet browser that is able to connect
to the RAFTER computer can view the graphical temperature display or view a simple list of the temperature sensors
and their current temperature values.
5 SENSOR STARTER KIT $299.00
The 5 sensor kit contains:
- 1 x TM064U Windows Vista/XP/2000 RAFTER PLUS PC software on CD
- 1 x TSR digital thermometer RS232 network adapter and
- 5 x TS2 digital thermometer temperature sensor (expandable to 64 sensors).
Cable to connect the sensors back to the PC computer is not supplied.
For connections under 30 metres you can use any 2 wire low capacitance cable. To
extend the connection up to 100 metres you will need to use a twisted pair cable such as Cat-5.

RAFTER PLUS is a low cost non critical temperature monitoring and alert system. Operating from a Windows computer
relying on the Windows operating system, network, other systems and third party service providers Insmart will
not accept any responsibility for damaged equipment or spoiled food or spoiled pharmaceuticals or any other
spoiled or damaged items. It is the responsibility of the customer to configure and test the RAFTER PLUS
software. The customer shall agree and accept that the limit of Insmart liability shall be to repair any
defects in the RAFTER PLUS software only.
Notwithstanding anything herein contained Insmart shall continue to be subject to any implied warranty provided by
the Trade Practices Act 1974 (as amended) or any other legislation in force within the Commonwealth of Australia
if and to the extent that the said Act or other legislation is applicable to this Agreement and prevents exclusion
or modification of any such warranty.
